Reducers

A buttweld reducer is a type of pipe fitting used to connect pipes of different diameters, facilitating a smooth transition in the flow of liquids, gases, or other substances. It is designed to fit precisely by welding the ends of the reducer to the larger and smaller pipes. There are two main types: concentric reducers, where the pipe centers align, and eccentric reducers, where the smaller pipe is offset. Made from materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys (e.g., 304, 316, P91), buttweld reducers are commonly used in various industries such as chemical, oil & gas, and plumbing.
